Welcome to Wellington Community Association
Established in 1989, the Wellington Community is a planned unit development constructed on what was once Clover Hill Farm, owned by the Johnson family. Today, that same site is home to 1,397 member owners of Wellington Community Association, with construction completed in 2001.

There are 575 single-family homes, 565 town homes, and 257 condominium units (Condo Association) surrounding the Community Center parcel, which also includes swimming and wading pools, tennis and basketball courts, and a tot lot for use by the Wellington membership. All homes are located within the City of Manassas, with the exception of 165 single-family homes located in Prince William County.

Wellington has been successful in establishing itself as an extremely desirable location and in 2002, Manassas was named one of the best places to live by the Washingtonian magazine. Situated close to both historic Old Town Manassas and the Bull Run Battlefield Civil War site, there are unlimited unique opportunities for shopping, community events, excursions and activities.

The Wellington Community Association provides a variety of services to its membership, which are funded through the assessments each owner pays on a monthly basis (budget, assessment payments). Assessments pay for the Association’s recreational amenities, common area maintenance and landscaping, management services, and special events. For the townhome owners, the assessments also cover the cost of street and parking area maintenance, street lighting (that which is currently installed), and snow removal. The Association maintains a management office in the Community Center for Wellington members who need Association related information and assistance.

Our success is largely dependent on volunteers — members of the Wellington Community who give generously of their time and talent to serve on our Board of Directors and Committees, organize Association special events, and participate on various projects. Volunteering really helps to foster a sense of community and neighborliness that is so often lacking in our busy lives. We encourage all members to support the Wellington Community in whatever way you can, whether that means serving on the Board of Directors or serving pancakes at “Breakfast with Santa”. Any contribution that you can make is invaluable and will be much appreciated.

Whether you plan to stay in Wellington for just a short time or a lifetime, we welcome you and assure you that we will do everything we can to make your “stay” an enjoyable one.
